Interaction

I have become as a wonder to many,
But You are my strong refuge.
(Psalm 71:7, NRS)

Good Morning,

We have extremely cold weather for our area of the world. While the Western world has conquered many life mysteries and power, humanity continues to lack the ability to direct and control the weather.
God is all-powerful and is in control.

Humanity interacts with the power of God and is under His control.

The Psalmist prayed:
I have become as a wonder to many: Significance does not come from position or power but from being known by God, who holds the world in His hands. He knows and cares about every detail, every word spoken, every thought, and every action of humanity. Psalms 147 describes God actively moving into each individual with transforming power. Thus, His power is not passive within humankind but interactive.

Psalms 147
3 He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
4 He counts the number of the stars;
He calls them all by name.
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite.
6 The LORD lifts up the humble;
He casts the wicked down to the ground.

But You are my strong refuge: God continually and ceaselessly chooses to be our refuge. It is our choice to interact with God as our Refuge. We move the core of our thoughts, words, and decisions into the eternal Refuge.

God has created us to be in an interactive, unique relationship.

Learning with you that God offers humanity an interactive relationship,
Kerrie
