A Divine Signature

My mouth will tell of your righteous acts,
of your deeds of salvation all day long,
though their number is past my knowledge.
(Psalm 71:15, NRS)

Good Morning,

Typical winter mornings in our area commence with cloud cover and rain. The unusual weather in the last week has created stunning cloudless sunrises. The morning light has pierced through the darkened skies producing a sherbet pink and baby blue cover. Even the snow on the trees and ground reflect the dazzling sky colors. It seems the Creator of the universe has been leaving a wondrous signature of His presence.

The Psalmist acknowledged the presence of God through divine activity:

My mouth will tell of your righteous acts: The Psalmist’s words were consciously shaped from thoughts formed upon an awareness of God. Every word of every conversation is a conscious choice. We can blame our response on others and circumstances; however, at the end of the day each individual is responsible for their choice of words. Evaluate your words—are your words directed by the Spirit of God?

Of your deeds of salvation all day long: Conversation centered on the saving presence of God transforms the speaker and the hearer. This kind of conversation occurs through continual surrender to the presence of God. Evaluate your words—are your words revealing the presence of the Spirit of God to others?

Though their number is past my knowledge: God imparts opportunities and the option to know and tell about His presence. People need to know and hear about the presence of God. Conversations tend to be centered on pressures and problems in this world. Evaluate your words—are your words worthy of the signature of God?

Evaluate your words.
Determine if your words bear His signature.

Learning with you to speak words that bear His signature,
